Klanggestalten in Dresden, November 2020

We cordially invite you to this year's Klanggestalten exhibition from 6. - 8. November to Dresden,
where 36 of Europe's finest violin and bow makers will be presenting their instruments and bows.
Alongside the violins, violas, cellos + bows, this year ́s exhibition will feature double basses and bass bows again.
We are very much looking forward to that.
As usual you can play all the violins, violas, cellos, basses and bows on display, extensively test them in separate rooms and borrow/purchase them in consultation with the makers.
There will also be one concert as part of the Contact-Project with the Carl Maria von Weber Academy of Music Dresden and the Franz Liszt Academy of Music Weimar as well as sound-trials of all violins, violas, cellos and basses.
We encourage conversations between the instrument makers and the musicians.
This is a rare opportunity to try these outstanding new instruments and bows as well as to meet the people who make them.
We look forward to your presence!
Corona - Update:
The Klanggestalten Exhibition 2020 in Dresden will take place.
We unfortunately do not yet know what the official government regulations will look like in November and which obligations will ensue. Currently, we expect all planned concerts and public tryout sessions of this edition's Klanggestalten to happen.
We shall inform you of any changes to our programme on this website.
