“Born in Canada, Jordan Scapinello studied double bass with Joel Quarrington, Tim Pitts and Paul Ellison. He apprenticed as a bowmaker with Ulf Johansson. His bows have won awards at international competitions and are played in many top orchestras. He plays professionally in a symphony orchestra in Sweden where he lives with his wife and two daughters.”
