Biography
An industrial loft built in 1893 in Berlin Moabit has, for nearly 25 years, been a hub for string players from around the world who are not satisfied with standard solutions for transporting their instruments. For just as long, Fiedler Cases has also been dedicated to achieving excellent sound quality. Over the years, a unique body of knowledge has been amassed regarding the function and acoustic impact of spikes and endpins, which in 2024 led, as a logical next step, to the development of their first proprietary endpin design. What makes it special: musicians advise musicians (and violin makers) – initially the cellist Joachim Fiedler, and since 2007, the violinist Michael Vrzal.
